Dancehall star Vybz Kartel is set to perform in Toronto for the first time, with two shows scheduled at Scotiabank Arena next month.

The announcement, shared on social media by Kartel and Toronto rapper Drake, has the shows set for Oct. 26 and 27. According to Ticketmaster, tickets go on presale at 10 a.m.Sept. 30.

It is unclear whether the shows will be part of Drake’s OVO Fest, which has not yet been formally announced for 2025. The timing, falling just days after Drake’s birthday on Oct. 24, has fueled speculation among fans that the appearances may be tied to a potential October festival.
